In 1946 I was born in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and have been a Florida resident ever since.  After a few years of college I married my husband (Bill of 41 years) and soon found myself involved in the real estate business.

In 1972 I got my Florida Real Estate License and have been involved with real estate ever since.  I have managed hotels in the Bahamas and Canada and condominiums in Florida.  I co-managed a condominium consulting business with my husband for 6 years when we did consulting all over the United States, Canada, Bahamas and Australia. For 9 years we built and sold 20 of our own custom speculation homes in the Lower Keys.  Even during the 5 years I worked with Foreign Broadcast Information Service (a division of CIA) I managed their local housing as part of my job. 

Thirteen years ago I started with Key West by the Sea Condominium Association, Inc. working for them as their on site rental agent.  After 3 years I left their employ and opened my own real estate brokerage and property management office.  Today I manage nearly 25% of the 206 apartments there. Eight years ago I moved my office away from Key West by the Sea so I could expand my business opportunities managing and selling other properties around Key West.  I, now, have rental units I manage in the Golf Club Condominiums, Shipyard Condominiums, Sea Side Condominiums and numerous homes around the lower keys.

 

I liked the name, so I formed my own corporation, KEY WEST BY THE SEA RENTALS & SALES, INC..  It is easy to remember and search for on the Internet and has all kinds of search words to get the point across of just what I do.  Furthermore, I am a member of the  Key West Association of Realtors and have full access to all of the benefits of being a Realtor including the Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
